Who may donate
- Australian citizens and residents, and Australian-registered entities.
- Foreign donors are excluded, as required by law.
- Donations must come from the donor's own funds; we do not accept donations made on behalf of undisclosed third parties.
Caps and disclosure
Victorian political donation caps and disclosure thresholds apply to this campaign as a registered third-party campaigner. Donations above the disclosure threshold are reported to the Victorian Electoral Commission and appear on the public register. We ask for your postcode and occupation at the point of donation to meet these obligations.
Tax status
Donations to Don't Divide Us are not tax deductible. We do not hold deductible gift recipient (DGR) status and will never imply otherwise.
Receipts and refunds
Stripe issues an immediate receipt on our behalf. Recurring donations can be changed or cancelled any time through Stripe's hosted donor portal — the link is in every receipt. Mistaken or duplicate donations are refunded on request within 14 days.
What donations fund
Advertising, organising staff, printed material, and campaign infrastructure including this website. An annual summary of income and expenditure is published on the About page.
